Seize the Day: 24 hours in Bangkok-Thailand

I've always thought that Bangkok was a bit overrated when it comes to tourist spots. And oh boy, was I wrong!

Last year, after a nearly 2-week dance festival in Surin-Thailand (8-12 hours away from Bangkok), I only had the privilege of having 1 day to see Bangkok. I wanted to see so many places that were quite unreachable given the limited time I had -- such as the river markets.

AND! I was pretty afraid of getting lost in Bangkok after remembering the film, The Hangover Part II...

But thanks to Google and being drug-free (lol), I was able to see 4 different & wonderful places in Bangkok.

So first, I had to consider traveling with a group of 25! And believe me, it wasn't easy... We had time limits for each place/area and had to see each other at a meeting place at a time.

Deep Inside Hong Kong

I've always considered Hong Kong as one my favorite places to go to in the world. I'd like to think of it as another home that I could run to and feel free. From the richness of its culture, passion for the arts, and technological advancements that made it convenient for everyone, no doubt this is a must-to-go for any travel junky out there.

Even though I've been to Hong Kong too many times -- at least 2-3 times a year to be exact -- I'd never get tired of this place. It just feels too much like home.

So I provided a few lists and basics that could help you out for your trip to Hong Kong. :)

Out of the Usual Experiences: Some pregnancy troubles

There are some things that future moms experience and feel uncomfortable about these because we are too preoccupied by celebrity moms who seem to be pulling off their pregnancy with much glow and radiance.

Let's be honest here -- we all dream of having that pregnancy glow like pregnant Blake over here. I mean how does she do it?!

But reality bites... The world can be unfair. HAHA! And no matter how hard we try to take care of ourselves with all those safe creams and healthy fruit diets during our pregnancy, not all of us can pull off a bikini with a baby bump like Miranda Kerr.

But don't fret! There are a couple of things that you, as a future mom, could experience that most moms might not -- and it's completely fine.

First Time Mom: Questions that need answers

Whether you just turned 18 or in your early-mid 20s, finding out that you're going to be a mother soon may always be a shock of news. A list of questions will keep on going one after the other -- whether you'r married or not.

But here are some of the questions that I could give some answers to:
1. What am I going to do?
2. How do I tell my parents? (for those who are not married and/or still young)
3. What am I going to with my career/studies?
4. How will I manage my finances/expenses?
5. Which obgyn and hospital should I go to with limited benefits?

So, I answered these questions accordingly and hope that it would also help you along the way. :)
